Our farm

Our farm is focused on producing and raising piglets.

The animals are fed with barley, wheat and oats that is grown in our own and nearby farms. We mainly obtain additional feeds from the Koskenkorva feed factory. We also get most of the additional protein from the barley protein that is produced as a by-product of the Koskenkorva distillery. The extra fat is domestic rapeseed or rapeseed oil.

Farrowing happens in our farm in a free movement pens where the sow can move freely with the piglets. Piglets have their own well-protected nesting area that the sow cannot reach.

Cultivation

We need field to produce feed for our animals. We are trying to get as big and high quality harvest as possible. It requires that every growth factor is in order from start to finish. Most of the fertilizer that our plants need comes from the manure of our animals.

If you are interested in renting or selling your fields for our use, please feel free to contact us. We are also interested in buying quality grain.
